First unveiled during Ubisoft’s conference, Starlink is gaming’s next dip into the toy / peripheral-based genre. Set in a seamless, open galaxy, you’ll pilot a ship that can be custom outfitted however you see fit. That ship, will actually be an in-game representation of a physical version that you’ll have docked to your controller while you play. You can change out weapons and defenses however you please, and these changes will be reflected in real-time on the screen.
While the game is dropping on all platforms, us Switch users get a little bonus to sweeten the pot. Our old friend Fox McCloud comes as an exclusive bonus just for us, along with his ship and a unique storyline. Expect to start customizing your ship this October 16th.
