Why Do You Need An Active Club In Umamusume: Pretty Derby?

At some point early on in your Umamusume: Pretty Derby journey, you’ll unlock access to Clubs. Most players that I’ve seen join a club for one of two reasons. They either join one simply to be a part of one or they wanted to join a big one that has a few really active members so that they can reap the benefits.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with either approach. New and casual players might just want to be a part of something and some players might not have the time to be crazy active. But a club that’s full of active members will go a long way.

I’m not saying every member needs to invest enough time to get their guild into the top 10 or even top 1000. Every member spending just a few minutes per day in the club can go a long way, even if they don’t do careers.

One of the main reasons to have active club members is the monthly rewards that are based on club rankings, which are based on the total number of fans. Obviously the biggest and best clubs will get the biggest rewards, but a decent amount of activity can reap solid rewards as well.

Take my club for example. During the first three weeks, we’ve generated 214 million fans. Some members were more active while others were less, but each member generated an average of 250,000 fans per day. That’s very low in the grand scheme of things, we’re not even ranked in the top 3,000.

But the reward for our placement is 900 carats per month, which is huge. Each member doing one career per day can go a long way. But there’s one reason for having an active guild that’s even bigger. I call it shoe cycling.

Members can request shoes and other members can donate two shoes up to ten times per day. Every time you donate two shoes, you get 10 club points. Even if you don’t need shoes, taking a few seconds per day to request allows other members to rack up club points. If there’s a long list of requests, members can earn up to 100 club points every day quickly.
