Imagine this scenario. You’ve completed the URA Finale 100 times and acquired the good ending with every character available. But when you look at your trophy list, it says you still haven’t unlocked the Long URA Finale Finals. This is a predicament that many players find themselves in, they’ll build for long and then find that their 800 Stamina Super Creek only runs in Medium.
You would think that your characters set goals are what dictates the length of the URA Finale, but that’s not the case at all. The URA Finale isn’t set in stone until after your final goal is completed and your optional races play a huge role.
Even if you build your character for long, doing a lot of optional medium races will lock you into the medium scenario. It’s actually fairly easy to break the cycle because you just need to win an extra two or three optional long races, but actually pulling them off is another story.
A few guides I’ve seen claim that you need at least 500 Stamina by the end of your career for long races if you have Swinging Maestro. That number increases if you don’t have that skill. The problem is that stamina goal is for the end of your run. If you plan on doing a few extra long races, you need to reach that stamina goal much earlier.
Here are a few tips to get that elusive trophy. Your ideal character will have at least an A in Long and you’ll want to get swinging maestro early while working on Speed and Stamina. Personally I choose the Front Runner because the others require extra power to overtake near the end.
A good path to take is too try to win two long races by the time the first Arima Kinen passes but you just need to make sure you’re strong enough to win the first batch. If by the end of your final goal you won enough long races, you’ll unlock the Long URA Finale scenario.
