Are you excited for the upcoming release of Metroid Prime 4? I bet you are. There’s only a few weeks left until it comes out, but that’s still a long way away. In the meantime, I have something else Metroid Prime related to keep you occupied. Last month, Piggyback published a massive art book titled Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective. The book features 208 pages of the coolest content from the first three Metroid Prime games.

I’m not the biggest fan of the Metroid series, but I was all over this book because I’m a sucker for good art books. A lot of the artwork in these kinds of books are ripped straight from the games themselves, but some go above and beyond with extra content. That’s exactly what this book does, making it the perfect gift for fans of the Metroid Prime series.

The book doesn’t just feature high quality artwork from the games, but a collection of sketches, special illustrations, and more. There’s a foreword by Metroid Prime producer Kensuke Tanabe, commentary and anecdotes from those who worked on the games, and a ton of concept drawings. The book costs $49.99 and is available at a variety of places including Amazon, Nintendo Store, Barnes and Noble, and other locations.
