It’s been a little more than four years since I became a huge anime fan, and Konosuba was very influential at the start. I loved the characters and the art, but I especially loved the humor. But there was such a huge gap after the second season and movie that just a few years ago, I thought we wouldn’t even get a third season. Yet here we are with the announcement of a fourth season, and it means so much to me.
A new anime project was announced a while ago, but it was just a few days ago when it was finally confirmed that the new project was in fact the fourth season. There’s no additional info on when the season is going to come out, but knowing that it’s on its way is huge. Hopefully it comes out at some point in 2027 or maybe even towards the end of this year.
It’s still one of my favorite anime of all time and it’s going to an adapt the 8th volume of the light novel. That’s actually one of my favorite volumes because of an event regarding a certain character but I don’t want to spoil too much for people who haven’t read the light novel or manga that far.
It was also announced that Konosuba will be getting a brand new mobile and PC game at some point this year. I’ve played their last mobile game and I have multiple Switch games too so I already know that I’m going to play the new game, I’m just hoping that it gets an English release as well. As such a big fan of the series, this has been a really big week for me personally.
